Today was our worship service/baptism at the lake and picnic at Waterfront Park. We had near perfect weather, sunny and comfortable. It was a great time to get outside and be visible in our community singing God’s praises and proclaiming Jesus Christ to any who happened by. Public baptisms are a powerful testimony of Jesus moving in our midst and committing to follow him.
It takes a team effort to pack up everything, set it up, and make it all work. Everyone chipped in and we finished with time to spare. The mix was great and no doubt helped greatly by the snake we just got (Kudos to Aaron for getting us a great deal from Carvin!!!).
It was great to hang out with everyone instead of rushing out of the service when we’re done.
