Pastor Mark preached on Jesus clearing the temple this morning. He had four hard hitting questions to think about:
- What would Jesus need to cast out if he entered our church today?
- What would Jesus heal if he came today?
- How would it change our worship?
- How mad would we get?
We had great Sunday. I say that every week because it’s true. We had some minor worship team performance glitches nothing we couldn’t play or sing through. I have learned if you don’t draw attention to mistakes, worshippers typically won’t notice it. We are our harshest critics. We prepare and practice but we are not perfect, nor do I expect it. My evaluation is whether the congregation is engaged in worship and are we honoring the Lord and that certainly was the case today. I am always encouraged and blessed by a singing congregation. God is good to us!
