Aaron led worship the morning and introduced How Great is Your Faithfulness to the congregation. He led it several times at the Mens’ Retreat back in February, so many of the guys already knew it. I enjoyed worshipping beside my wife this morning which was a nice treat and it gave me a chance to view everything from the congregation’s perspective. The leadership by the worship team was excellent, as usual, and so was the mix. I am blessed (and so is our church body) to have three guys (Brad, Brian, and Aaron) that can step up and lead well and they have done so for the last three Sundays. It’s great to go on vacation and know things are in good hands. The song that ministered to me the most this morning was ‘Man of Sorrows,’ What a Name we have a different arrangement set in a minor key and the words just seemed to srir my heart this morning.
Pastor Mark’s challenge question from the sermon: Do you know what your task is in this generation?
