Sunday Set List #26 10/11/2009

We had a great worship service this morning, the sanctuary was packed and alive.  It was good to be gathered together with my brothers and sisters in the Lord. Our pastor was out of town working on his studies, so we had Mike Klontz, one of the missionaries we support preach.  He had a challenging sermon from Philippians 3; my takeaway was a personal question: Is my example worthy of others following?  Paul certainly felt that way.  Our following last two songs “I Cannot Ignore” (Philippians 3) and “If Anything Is Excellent” (Philippians 4) reemphasized his main points.  It was a reminder that God is always orchestrating everything since I had planned the song list over three weeks ago!!!

This morning leading worship was a real pleasure.  We had a real treat musically as we had keys (rare for us), and an electric guitar in addition to our normal acoustic guitar, bass, and drums.  The team played and sang well as we had a powerful time of congregational worship in song.  Here is our setlist:
