It was a great Father's day.
Highlights:
- Worshipping with my family this morning for the whole service. Hearing my daughter's voice beside me singing.
- Really hearing the congregation sing (I never hear it as well up on the platform).
- Having a worship team that can do it all with excellence and without me; great job everyone.
- Teaching Sunday School and having great participation and discussion and personal feedback after the class from a newcomer who attended.
- A straight shooting sermon from Pastor Mark reminding us that we have been conditioned in the US today not to speak about Jesus. If we say nothing, nothing will happen. Stephen, the 1st Christian Martyr, is what the faithful uncompromising response looks like.

Chaplain Dave had a Father's day sermon with some adaptations for the Ladies. His statistics on earthly fathers was less than encouraging, but he reminded us that regardless of what we experience with our earthly fathers our heavenly Father will not fail us.
I missed having Brenda adding the bass to my acoustic guitar, but that didn't change the level of participation. It was a reminder of how little accompaniment is really needed when God's people gather intent on worshipping Him.
