He is risen! He is risen, indeed!

I had high hopes for our medley of Risen Today and The Father’s Love, the worship team executed the songs well, but I forgot one key thing. Because we combine services for Easter at the High School, and we also have many guests; do not sing anything but well known songs or only the music team will be singing. The good news is that the other four songs we sang met that criteria, so we recovered and ended strong!

The team did well setting up our portable sound system. We got an early start, and it turns out we needed the extra time. We had a challenge with the electronic drums which had to be reprogramed from a multi-channel breakout to one channel. Brad managed to figure it out in time.

Pastor Mark brought a powerful sermon. One thing he pointed out is just like the stone was unexpected rolled away from the tomb, often when we seek to honor Jesus, difficulties are removed before us.
