It was a great day to be in the house of the Lord. Nothing earth-shaking happened, but we did have Spirit-filled singing and Spirit-inspired preaching and a time of communion with the saints in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. In my book that’s more than enough.
Kudos to the sound techs and to Troy Reit our trainer; the 12 or so hours of training is paying off! The first post-training sound check at practice brought the quality and clarity of the sound to a whole new level. For the first time all the drums and cymbals sounded like drums and and cymbals, not just sticks hitting rubber pads. Wow!!!
