Happy Fathers Day!
It was a busy morning. We needed some extra time this morning to do sound checks since took everything apart yesterday to set up at our booth for Medical Lake Founders Day (One of the great things about small town living!). Sunday school time was shorted considerably but we made it through the lesson in Acts with excellent discussion. Pastor Mark had another excellent sermon. My take away was his his suggestion that our constant question to ourselves as we do things is “Will this please the Lord?”
The worship team played and sang well together this morning and the congregational response was strong as usual. I changed the last verses of our final hymn to women only and men only on the fly and no one missed a beat. It’s always great to hear just the ladies. At the men always rise to the challenge when they sing alone.
