Sometimes you just have to be there. No drums today, and yet I don’t think I have ever heard the congregation sing more clearly and on the last repeat of the chorus of By Faith the congregation has never sang louder. It was amazing, inspiring, and Spirit-filled.
It was a missionary Sunday and John Kargbo brought a powerful message on repentance. Since John is not an American, he sees through the lens of a different culture which make his messages very insightful.
I think I Will Stand is my favorite hymn; I find Scott Riggan’s arrangement refreshing and compels me to sing. The new bridge is outstanding and feels integral to the song and not an add on.
