Our opening song this morning was I Will Stand; I have been waiting for months to do it. It was worth the wait! My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less is a hymn we sing regularly, but this new arrangement of the classic hymn begs to be sung.
I dusted off Seek Ye First for our closer. It’s been years since we have done it. It brought smiles to quite a few faces this morning. The ladies did a great job with the descant when we repeated the first verse at the end. Although I thought for sure I heard the descant before that (or maybe it was just in my head)!
All in all it was a great Sunday to be gathered together praising the Lord. Here are all the songs we did.
