Sunday Set List #131 1/15/2012

sundaysetlistWe opened with Everlasting God this morning. Brad introduced the song last May and we have not done it since June. I went ahead and had him lead the song since he was playing guitar today. It’s a great song and a fresh one for us; the congregation responded well to it.

This was our third Sunday for Father Forgive Us. The team is pretty tight on this one and the congregation is getting there. I would imagine the lyrics to this song make it a hard one to sing for those who are not serious about their faith. As for me it’s a bold statement of faith and our driving arrangement reflects it. It is now one of my favorite songs.

The rest of the songs are well known by the congregation and the singing reflected it.

Pastor Mark had his regular hard hitting sermon this morning. He challenged us as to whether we are putting ourselves and others in the way to be blessed by Jesus. I know I can do better.
