Great congregational engagement in singing made for an encouraging Sunday worshipping the Lord. The team played and sang well which was good since we struggled at practice Thursday night with tempos.
Pastor Mark noted we can recognize an idols in life by where we spend our time, energy, and money. That is certainly food for thought.
We had a worship team meeting during the Sunday School hour which was long overdue. We are going to try to start doing them quarterly. We had a party after the worship service at a local pizza place to say farewell to Ben, our bass player. The Air Force is moving him on to new horizons, but we have been blessed to have him with us for a season.
