Sunday Set List #24 9/13/09

We had another great Sunday; Brad was leading energetically and the band and vocalists played and sang well; more importantly the congregation was engaged.  Pastor Mark’s sermon was a good reminder that Jesus Plus is not the salvation by grace in the New Testament and our closing songs connected well with that idea.

Holy is the Lord was a new song for us this morning and was well received; we’ll be doing it for the next two weeks.

I finished my homemade 27.75” scale electric bass last weekend and got to play it this morning, so I was having a good time.  I finally completed one with tone that is acceptable to the band!!!  You can check out pics at:  http://www.cigarboxnation.com/profile/DougThorsvik

Our “We-I” Balance for this week is 1.  If your curious as to what that is you can check out my blog series on it: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.  Part 3 includes the “We-I” Balance for 8 random sites from the setlists last week at FredMcKinnon.com.
