It's rare when our services don't go well; and today was not exception.

Highlights

• A hardhitting message challenging our view of the church and where we fit in it.
• O Worship the King: this was our first time out with this new arrangement. Brian's brother, Brad, originally scheduled to lead this morning found this one. I really like the update to this classic hymn. Easier to sing and more rhythmic, yet maintains much of the flavor of the original; hopefully, the best of both worlds.
• Brian leading this morning, he was fired up this morning, his passion was apparent and set the tone throughout the worship sets.
• Playing my cigarbox bass. Since we recombined the two contempory services into one; we have a three week rotation of leaders/teams. I finished the first rotation as leader last week, so I'm playing bass for this next rotation.
